I have always had difficulty with affirmations. I have felt drawn to books, blogs and articles on the topic as it felt as if they would be something that could help me but it just never clicked with me. And even more so when it came to stuff on the law of attraction.
However, last week I read Change Your Words, Change Your World by Andrea Gardner and I felt a massive change in me. Something in my mind opened up and all of a sudden I can’t stop creating and using affirmations.
The last few days have been really interesting. Particularly as I have managed to ward off a couple of anxiety attacks just by silently repeating to myself “I navigate my way through my day with ease” rather than automatically reaching for my flower remedy.
The law of attraction stuff will take a little work, but it seems to makes sense now.
If i’m drawn to something, its usually for good reason but it is so easy to get put off because I don’t find the right teacher, book or method of learning. Lesson learned. It is always worth persevering.
